Social Responsibility

Arjula Foundation, our CSR arm, is one of the largest corporate volunteering arms in the country with 5,000 registered volunteers, 500 Magnificent Seven (M-7) teams that have clocked more than 50,000 productive hours since inception.

Awards and accolades such as the TERI Corporate Award 2006-2007, stand testimony to our commitment to make a positive difference to the society.

The Foundation has chapters in Hyderabad (Headquarters), Bengaluru, Warangal and Indore; and focuses its activities in the core areas of Education, Livelihoods, Health (Blood Donation Camps), Empowering Persons with Disability, and Disaster Management.

Transforming through Education:
An individual or an organization is modeled around specific skills and practical knowledge. The Livelihood program of Arjula Foundation believes in enabling individual capacities. Our initiatives urge the need to maximize the potential of under privileged people and instill confidence so they can compete in emerging job markets. We believe that in enabling an individual, we can create confident and skilled workers. Livelihood Program is deeply experienced in identifying the needs of underprivileged people and transferring appropriate
skills.

Enriching Health:
Arjula Technologies has always understood the importance of good health. Arjula Foundation, in association with The Red Cross Society of India, and other reputed blood banks regularly conducts blood donation drives across all Arjula Technologies locations with many Associates volunteering to donate blood during this drives.

 

Empowering Persons with Disability (PWDs)
All the initiatives under this program endeavor to integrate Persons with Disabilities into the society, to live as dignified and responsible citizens. This is achieved by identifying, training and providing livelihood opportunities to Persons with Disabilities through employment and self employment both in organized and unorganized sectors. The Program works to sensitize both corporate organizations and communities through workshops, observing important days and fund raising events.

 

Dealing with Disaster Management
Disaster management is an enormous task. It is imperative that there is proper management to optimize efficiency of planning and response. Due to limited resources, collaborative efforts at community levels are necessary. Arjula Foundation has efficiently coordinated and organized effort by responding and helping the needy to recover from emergencies and their ssseffects in the shortest possible time.
